Union Station
- It’s aesthetically beautiful so so so nice
- There are bars/food places in here but also just cute stores
- It’s one of the better train station conversions I’ve seen
RiNo (River North)
- The Source – expensive stores, nice things
- Overall a nice place to walk around esp if weather is bad outside, also probably even more bumpin’ at night (we went midday)
- There are a few other converted lofty buildings (old factory spaces?) like the Source around there (there’s a nameless one that I can’t find on Google Maps but it was at the corner of 35th and Wazee)
Larimer St
- Cafes + bars between 24th and 30th
- Bars seem bumping at night
- Lots of bakeries as well
- Hipster vibe (not as posh/refined)
Downtown
- 16th St Mall pretty lame but worth a walk?
- Denver Art Museum (Free first Saturdays)
- Actually one of the cooler buildings in the city and also a really solid art collection
- Le Meridien bar (54Thirty rooftop)
- Draft beer ~$7
- Drinks ~$12
- Not a bad deal – pretty nice setting and heat lamps to counterbalance the cold!
Boulder
- College campus
- Brunch at River & Woods
- Pearl Street Mall
Things we didn’t get to do (that are on my list for next time!):
- Go to the Rocky Mountains
- See Red Rocks or catch a performance there
- See the Wild Animal Sanctuary on the way to the airport
